Trump's tariffs ruled illegal by US Court of International Trade

Stocks that were particularly boosted by the court ruling on tariffs included ADIDAS and PUMA, as they produce most of their products in Asian countries such as Vietnam, on which Trump imposed high tariffs in April.

The US is a critical market for both brands. The sharp increase in tariffs means that products shipped from Asia to US retailers suddenly cost more, forcing those companies to either raise prices (risking a drop in sales) or absorb the costs (resulting in a drop in profits). So a potential rollback of the imposed tariffs could help the shares break through the bottom.
